Childrens Rough and Tumble Playhouse:

Rough & Tumble Outpost is an extraordinary fortress! The Bridge-over-Swings connects the Main Fort with the 5-Level, Big Step Stacking Fort. Part way up the Stacking Fort is the entrance to the Super Slide. The Main Fort features a Jail below and a Wrap-Around Ramp to the Big Deck and Play House on top. Kids can also cross the Swinging Bridge with rattles and rolls to the Climbing Tower. So many ways up and down! The Crazy Bar Climb and the Drawbridge-style Ramp with Giant Rope Rails lead to the top of the Climbing Tower. Just behind the Ramp are the Firepole and Rock Climbing Wall. Other play features include a rope net ladder, an earthquake landing platform and a turbo tube slide. We recommend the play area be 40’ x 47’ to provide ample room around all sides of play structure. Bark chips are recommended for fill material at a minimum of 9” to 12” depth. (Photo copyright Teena Albert) This item is custom made especially for you upon order. Assembly is required. We recommend hiring a local contractor to install or full installation by the manufacturer is available for an additional 20%.

Lumber: All Redwood Construction Heart Grade or Better, grinded smooth

Stain: Entire structure is stained completely inside and out with non-toxic tung oil stains and finished with clear tung oil as a top coat.

Hardware: All fasteners are of exterior-grade quality.

Rock Holds: Professional quality rock holds with exterior grade fasteners.

Rope: High quality exterior grade Black Nylon 1/2" rope.

Metal: All powder-coated metal except stainless steel firepole.

Turbo Tube Slide: Durable, UV-resistant vacuum formed polyethylene

Super Slide: Double wall rotomolded single-piece slide with solid base.
